Low voltage led lighting

Low voltage led lighting has a huge number of advantages over the other forms of lighting that are currently available.  Rapid advancements in led lighting technology mean that the way we light up bars, restaurants and our homes is changing.

One of the primary advantages of low voltage led lighting is that as soon as it is installed it will start to save you money.  Incandescent light bulbs are extremely inefficient as more than 90% of the energy that they use is converted into heat.  Led lights convert virtually all the energy they use into light and so remain cool to the touch no matter how long they are left running for.  This makes led lighting ideal for display lighting and around shelves and even under cabinet lighting in the kitchen.

 The second advantage that led lights have is that they are very long lasting and low maintenance.  Led lamps have a lifespan that is typically 8x greater of even the most up to date energy saving light bulb.  Replacing the halogen spotlights in your kitchen or bathroom with leds means that you might not have to change another light bulb for 20 years.

The most recent led light strips are now extremely durable and suitable for a wide range of applications.  They are heat and cold resistant and 100% waterproof.  They can be walked on and even driven over making them ideal for use in outdoor locations or the garden.

Led lighting has been used for years in the entertainment industry with the dynamic colour changing properties of RGB led lighting ideally suited for use in pubs, clubs and restaurants.  Now similar effects can be easily created in the home with the use of led wall and ceiling washes.
